I have been working on this one for a little while. It is the largest canvas I have done so far. The others have been smaller, individual 5x7s. I really enjoyed doing this one too. I kept it on my tabletop easel and when I walked down the hall upstairs into the bonus room, it was in my direct line of sight... and it made me happy to see it. :) It is for a sweet baby girl who is due to arrive in about 7 weeks. I can't wait to meet her!

I ran across these photos of frames I've done in the past year, but were on a different computer so didn't get loaded before now. The first one (Mallory) and last one (Madelyn and Amelia) were 'made-to-match' baby's decor. The one in the middle was a teacher's gift.
I will actually have a couple more outfits to post soon as well. I am LOVING my embroidery machine... why, oh WHY didn't I buy one 5 years ago?! Thinking of all the cute things I could have done for Kendall all these years. {Sigh} oh well. No sense worrying about it now. Just need to get busy making stuff for her NOW until she just flat refuses to wear any of it. :) Hopefully, I still have a few years before that happens....

I can't find just ONE thing I love to do and work on only that.... I have to try a little bit of everything. :) I bought an embroidery/sewing machine recently and have been playing with it here and there. Here is my first completed outfit. The t-shirt is the only thing I did not sew, but everything else I did; the capris, the monogram applique and even the hair bow! I think it turned out ok. :)

The Grand Opening...
...of my blog, that is. :)
For a little over a year, I maintained a website to share my little 'business'. People would ask me about something I made and it was always 'do you have a website?' Now I could say 'why, yes I do!'
It worked out pretty well for a while, but I wondered if I really needed to continue to pay for a site, when just about everything I did was by word of mouth anyway. Nothing was ever sold through the website. All I really need is a place to share pictures of what I love to do. :) So here we are!
I am glad you are here.
