Catching Up!

Wow! I have a LOT to catch up on! I have been posting pictures of my stuff to my Facebook page for the last few months. One reason is that is takes so stinkin' long to upload even ONE picture on this blog. I'm not a terribly patient person. ;) Well, my dear friend Millie showed me how to resize my pics AND upload more than one at a time! Have I mentioned what a GREAT friend she is?! Well, she is! Now I just need to get her squared away on how to play Super Mario Bros with just one player at a time, haha!

So sit back and enjoy the new pictures. I appreciate your patience! ;)

This first outfit was for a sweet little girl's 1st birthday!
Someone's having a baby (in this case) sister!

Speaking of Millie, this outfit was for sweet baby girl E's first birthday! Adorable!

Wall graffiti! I've always wanted to draw/paint on the walls and Millie gave me a chance. This is on E's bedroom wall. Thanks for the opportunity... and your trust! You are brave, Millie! :)

Baby Chloe

I have been working on this one for a little while. It is the largest canvas I have done so far. The others have been smaller, individual 5x7s. I really enjoyed doing this one too. I kept it on my tabletop easel and when I walked down the hall upstairs into the bonus room, it was in my direct line of sight... and it made me happy to see it. :) It is for a sweet baby girl who is due to arrive in about 7 weeks. I can't wait to meet her!

I ran across these photos of frames I've done in the past year, but were on a different computer so didn't get loaded before now.  The first one (Mallory) and last one (Madelyn and Amelia) were 'made-to-match' baby's decor.  The one in the middle was a teacher's gift.

I will actually have a couple more outfits to post soon as well.  I am LOVING my embroidery machine...  why, oh WHY didn't I buy one 5 years ago?!  Thinking of all the cute things I could have done for Kendall all these years.  {Sigh} oh well.  No sense worrying about it now.  Just need to get busy making stuff for her NOW until she just flat refuses to wear any of it. :)  Hopefully, I still have a few years before that happens....

I can't find just ONE thing I love to do and work on only that.... I have to try a little bit of everything. :)   I bought an embroidery/sewing machine recently and have been playing with it here and there.  Here is my first completed outfit.  The t-shirt is the only thing I did not sew, but everything else I did; the capris, the monogram applique and even the hair bow!  I think it turned out ok. :)
